With the global pandemic underway, RMS, an industry leader in risk management, launched the largest industry's conference - Exceedance - virtually.

The event serves as the premier conference for insurance industry thought leaders, product experts and colleagues to The event serves as the premier conference for insurance industry thought leaders, product experts, and colleagues to gather and explore innovations in risk forecasting and modeling technology. The1stMovement was tasked with auditing the previous event and designing/architecting a more streamlined platform to accommodate the increased number of attendees from around the globe.

Innovation showcase for every new RMS development.

Our platform's focus was simple for our audience: Immerse yourself in everything that RMS has to offer: over 400 risk models and data products, a cloud-based unified risk analytics platform, and dedicated applications and solutions.

Due to the global pandemic, we had to streamline the entire design and development in 3 months. A reusable library of components was created to ensure overall consistency, ease of use, and most of all, speeding up overall development time.

Content was organized and personalized for our audience's specific region, industry sector, job rolle, all to build up a personalized agenda that fits their needs. Additional features were implemented like "Meet with our experts", "Network with your peers" and hands-on virtual workshops to drive further engagement.

Post-event metrics indicate Exceedance 2021 as an unequivocal success. Registration for the event reached 162% of goal, a 91% increase YOY. Attendees participated from 43 countries around the world and averaged 209 minutes of engagement. In the first 10 days following close of Exceedance 21, over $4.8 million in new pipeline was attributed to the program.
